Recently, during a Tarot Date, my client asked me a lot of "Yes or No" questions. And for the first time, in a long time... something strange occurred. Let's blog about it!
My clients questions were not answerable, using any other spread than the "5 Card YES or NO". I learned this spread from Angelo Nasios, I have no idea where he learned it. The structure is simple, if 3 of the 5 cards indicate YES... your answer is YES.
Having said that, I know that the spread is mathematically engineered to come out with a YES answer. Because of this, I require 4 of the 5 cards to say YES. So, you can understand that a "NO" answer is pretty rare.
My client said, "Ken, should I go out with Billy Bob?" I shuffled the cards and the answer was a 4 card NO. Strange to get a NO, but we moved on. My client then asked, "Ken, should I go out with Wallace?" I shuffled the deck and the response was a 4 card YES.
As I like to give the underdog another chance... we asked again about Billy. The EXACT SAME cards reappeared to say a 4 card NO! The exact cards from the first NO we received about him! Can you see how strange that is?!
It was so strange, I cleared the spread and asked again. You know, to see if the same cards would reappear.... They didn't; instead, the cards came back a 5 card NO. Clearly, the point was being made: NO to Billy.
Sorry, Billy... I tried!!!
